Sewell Facilities Management is proud to give its backing to the Hull Daily Mail’s Golden Apples awards for the sixth consecutive year.

Shining a light on the region’s efforts to make a difference to education, the awards celebrate everything that’s good about the sector locally.

This year, there are 11 awards up for grabs, from Teacher of the Year and Young Entrepreneur of the Year to Unsung Hero and the special Lifetime Contribution Award.

Martin Stead, managing director of Sewell FM, said:

“We’ve been closely involved in the Golden Apples since their inception and we couldn’t be more excited to be back again as the main sponsor for 2019.

“These awards are an incredible opportunity to recognise some of the region’s key influencers who are shaping, improving and inspiring our children’s education.

“It’s a real privilege to join the judging panel once again this year, to hear the raft of entries submitted by so many grateful students, parents, staff and colleagues.

“It’s become an annual challenge, trying to narrow the shortlist down to our winners from so many submissions but it’s one I am very much looking forward to.

“Good luck to everyone who is thinking of entering, we can’t wait for another year of fantastic stories!”

Judging will take place on November 5th and the awards evening will take place at the KCOM Stadium, West Park, on December 5th.
